Sausage roll is a genius name for a cat, especially a fully indoor lazy lounger of a cat. For our American readers, a sausage roll is essentially a very long pig in a blanket, which doesn't quite have the same ring to it in terms of how it sounds, but it is an incredibly accurate way to describe such a cat child. A creature that loves nothing more than to stuff their face with food and then retreat to be covered up in a blanket in order to process and absorb said food. Other than the silly names that cat pawrents come up with for their cat children, our favorite kind of cat names are the ones that sound like they could belong to a person from a very affluent family from England. The kind of person who spent all their life hopping from private yachts to private planes. Which is a classic character for a cat. All the entitlement in the world, while doing absolutely nothing to be deserving of such entitlement. Oh and how could we forget to mention the obviously hunting inspired nickname which can only allude to some hilarious incident that happened out in the blinds while hunting geese.
